HowdyHack is Texas A&M's 24-hour, beginner-friendly, Aggie-only hackathon taking place virtually. Hackers at HowdyHack will brainstorm, build, and break their product before they’ll submit it to a panel of judges for evaluation and hopefully win some cool prizes.
Beyond hacking, HowdyHack is about connecting creative and talented Aggie hackers with each other. We want to give hackers the creative space to showcase their skills and create something amazing while getting to know fellow hackers with the same Aggie pride!
To get started, head on over to register for the event. The first 100 people to sign up and submit a project will receive a care package with a T-shirt, stickers, and other hackathon swag from our sponsors. Sign up as soon as possible to secure your spot and qualify for a care package!
After you sign up, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know you’re good to go. Now you can either form a team yourself, or you find one during the team building portion right before the competition!

Due to concerns about the spreading of COVID-19, this year’s HowdyHack will be hosted virtually, but that does not mean it will be any less exciting! The hackathon will be streamed live on Twitch with many workshops, events, and interactive competitions to emulate the engaging atmosphere that in-person hackathons provide.
